NJ Governors Jefferson Awards Honoring Operation Bling 2021

In 2021, Chris was honored with a Jefferson Award for "multiplying good" through the Operation Bling Foundation. 

We Care We Share Grant

July 30, 2019

The Church of Christ the King in New Vernon, NJ Outreach Advisory Board gave OBF a "We Care/We Share" grant of $1,000. The funds are generally targeted for those in financial need, but they wanted to acknowledge the emotional needs that Operation Bling fill for cancer patients. Fr. Brian Sullivan came to present the gift with blessings to us for our heartfelt care for cancer patients.

Overlook Fundation Grants OBF $10,000

2014

Operation Bling Foundation received the extraordinary grant of $10,000 from the Overlook Foundation. Thank you to Ann Oliva and the board of directors for their tremendous generosity! $10,000 will enable Operation Bling to Bling 400 oncology patients at Overlook Medical Center!

The New Jersey State Assembly and Senate honor and salute Christine and Bill Ferdinand for their meritorious record of service to citizens in need through the Operation Bling Foundation.

American Cancer Society's Humanitarian Award

2009

Christine and Bill Ferdinand, founders of Operation Bling Foundation, receive the American Cancer Society's Jody A. Morrow Humanitarian Award at the ACS Diamond Ball.

Making a Difference for Women Award

2009

Christine Ferdinand receives the Making a Difference for Women Award from Soroptimist, a global volunteer organization that economically empowers women and girls by providing access to education, the single most effective anti-poverty intervention.
